Games Transformed festival this weekend, London
Billionaires & Guillotines LIVE, plus "What is the Antifascist Game?"
I’ve been working with the wonderful team to organize the Games Transformed festival, happening this weekend in London. If you’re in the city, please come out! Tickets are available.
Everything on the schedule is phenomenal, and the festival will be a lot of fun. But I’m especially excited about a few thing:
On Friday, as a warm-up to the festival, I am organizing an international symposium “What is the Antifascist Game?” with over 35 guests.
You can hear our public report-back and discuss the issues with us on Friday at 5:30pm at Pelican House.
Stick around for the kick-off of the festival, a special games night, starting at 7:00pm.
Games Transformed runs all day Saturday, from 11am. I’ll be demoing Billionaires & Guillotines at 11am, then chairing a panel on “How are Fascists Using Games?” at 1pm.
On Saturday evening, don’t miss the grand finale: a live “game-show” version of Billionaires & Guillotines, where I will MC as the craven politician, mediating a competition between the audience (the commoners) and our special guests (the billionaires) as they struggle for socialism or barbarism.
